The current unemployment rate is 4% which is relatively high from the past few months and has a high number of job openings, but still why people are not getting hired more? Is there any skill gap or something else?

Skill gap is not only the main issue for the mismatch between the current unemployment rate and the number of job openings. There are many other factors also:

    1. Candidates want a higher salary, which does not go with the current market rates.
    2. Some job seekers do not have the qualifications that companies want.
    3. Mismatched job locations.
    4. Work culture changes post-pandemic.
