The U.S. is planning to make the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve a reality in 2026, but I’m curious how the government keeps Bitcoin’s energy use in check while also meeting its climate goals? Does this move risk centralizing a "decentralized" asset, or will it simply leave taxpayers holding the bag if it crashes?

You've raised a great question: the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is now real, thanks to the U.S. Reserve Modernization Act. You should know that the government targets carbon-neutral mining to meet climate goals, although centralization is a risk. You should view this as an additional asset, not a total substitute for stability. Diversification remains your safest path.
