Should I sell my equities and focus on ETFs?
-
My portfolio's year-to-date return is 8.5%, compared to SPY's 18.5% and SCHD's 10.4%. I am long term investor, and i still value my stocks, which include Apple, Microsoft, Tesla. But the broader diversification and higher returns of ETFs are tempting me. So suggest me, what should i do, Should I sell some equities and shift entirely to ETFs, or should i stick with my present stocks and continue investing more in them?

There is no need to switch totally to ETFs. You can keep your stocks and add other ETFs like SPY or SCHD to your portfolio, as they provide more stability and broader exposure to you. My suggestion for you is to just maintain your core stocks and invest in ETFs for better diversification and for steady returns.
