My job covers health insurance for me, my wife, and my child. I am switching my job, and my new health insurance covers me only. My wife is also working, and her company offers her health insurance. My question is, if I change job, will my wife and child be able to switch to her job’s health insurance, or will they lose coverage from my old job?

Yes, your family is eligible for a special enrollment period with your wife's employer. A life event, such as losing coverage from your previous employment, can trigger this adjustment. It’s better to check with the HR department to ensure a smooth transition of coverage.
