@Mark Tap-to-pay is so easy that I can't imagine switching. What would it actually take for me to use QR codes instead? Is there a security level or rewards program that justifies the extra effort?

Why do QR code e-wallet payments seem so uncommon in the U.S.? Since I already use credit cards without extra fees, is there even a real benefit for me to switch when Apple Pay and Google Pay work just like tap-to-pay cards?
